We want to host your group here at Fort Lone Tree! You will find comfortable cabins, excellent food, friendly service, and a beautiful environment at very reasonable prices. We host weekend and mid-week retreats from August to May. The Fort is a great place to host your Jr./Sr. High, College, Men's, Women's, or school group retreat. A typical retreat schedule may include:
Friday: Group arrives Friday evening to find hot drinks available in the dining hall. Groups usually start off the weekend with an evening worship and teaching time.
Saturday: Start off the day with a hot breakfast served by our staff before your groups a.m. session, activities or free time. Lunch is served at noon. Afternoon activities are led by the Lone Tree Staff. Dinner will be ready at 6:00 p.m. The evenings consist of another session then more free time or a campfire.
Sunday: Breakfast is served at 8:00 a.m. Groups usually have an a.m. session and then lunch is available before you leave. Activities are not provided on Sundays which allows program staff to attend church.
We host Ski Retreats! Snow skiing is available Thanksgiving through Easter at Ski Apache (www.skiapache.com). Ski Apache is located approximately 45 minutes from Fort Lone Tree. Enjoy a hot breakfast at 7:30 before hitting the slopes. We'll even send a hearty sack lunch for each skier, so you don't have to worry about buying food on the mountain. All rentals, lift tickets, and transportation must be arranged by the group. Skiing is not a Lone Tree sponsored event, and the group takes all responsibility for any injuries that take place traveling to and from the mountain and while on the mountain.
